District Seal exists because most electronic signatures prove nothing. They prove a click happened. They do not prove who clicked — and when a document is challenged in court, an audit log that says "Jane signed at 4:12pm from IP 1.2.3.4" is not enough. Courts want identity. District Seal produces it.
District Seal was built in 2026 by a small team who spent years watching contracts fall apart — not because they were poorly drafted, but because the identity behind the signature could not be proved. Standard e-signature tools — DocuSign, Adobe Sign, Dropbox Sign — all verify the same thing: an email address received a link, and someone clicked it. That is defensible against an honest signer. It is not defensible against a signer who later claims "that wasn't me."
We built the opposite. Every District Seal ceremony captures face, voice, hardware-backed device authentication, and a liveness challenge against a randomized phrase. The result is a certificate bound to the document hash, with a public URL that anyone can use to independently confirm the record.
Not a marketing word. You cannot ask someone to trust you. You can give them the tools to check. Every District Seal certificate is publicly verifiable — no login, no phone call, no waiting. That is what trust actually looks like.
Identity should not be a checkbox. "I confirm that I am who I say I am" is not verification. It is a sentence typed into a form. Real verification requires that the signer was physically present at the moment of signing, with a device that has hardware-backed authentication, and that they were alive, sober, and willing. We capture all of that.
Records should outlive companies. Every certificate we issue is bound to the SHA-256 hash of the exact document signed. If the document is later changed — a single character, a comma, a date — the seal breaks and the certificate will not verify. This is not a policy. It is math.
Support should not be a ticket queue. When a Firm client has a problem at 2 AM, they should reach a person. When a signer claims they were coerced, we should be able to help within 24 hours. Support is not a feature. It is the thing that keeps a signed instrument defensible.
District Seal is operated by NEXSIM LLC, a Montana limited liability company incorporated in the United States. All data is hosted in the United States. All processing is done under U.S. law.
We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising. We do not use client documents to train models. The entire business model is: you pay us for verified signing, and we keep the record.
